John Ames
Elder, Lead Pastor
John was born in Norwood. He has a background in urban ministry in Boston and planted churches in Rhode Island prior to moving back to Massachusetts. He also serves as the North Regional Director for a ministry called Send Relief. In his free time, John loves watching Liverpool soccer, listening to live music, and spending time with his wife, Jenny, and their two children, Micah and Mikayla
Kevin Marando
Elder, Associate Pastor
Born in Dorchester and growing up on the South Shore, Kevin has a deep love for the people of Greater Boston. Today he lives with his wife, Pam and children, Zoe, Levi and Evangeline in Dedham. He loves working with his hands, playing guitar, and spending time near the water with his family. Kevin loves helping people understand scripture and grow in their relationship with Christ.
Michelle DeLew
Worship Director
Michelle grew up in New Jersey, carrying with her the vibrant spirit of her Dominican heritage. She and her husband, Jake, have called Boston home for well over a decade. Passionate about leading through music, Michelle delights in helping God's people connect with Him. Beyond worship, she is a talented interior designer and a devoted mom to 2 daughters.
Pam Marando
Kids Director
With more than a decade of Kids Ministry Director experience, and 3 awesome kids of her own, Pam has a passion for partnering with parents to see children take ownership of their faith. She is also the Co-head of school at Grace Prep Academy in Needham, a private Christian University Model School. If she had free time she would use it to craft, drink latte's, and spend time with friends.
Tina Hermistone
Church Pianist
Tina has been a long standing member of FBC Norwood. Each week she skillfully and joyfully accompanies the service on the piano. Additionally, she oversees the Blessings Boutique, a thrift shop serving the community of Norwood since 2020
Hillary Rose
Facilities Director
Hillary has been with First Baptist Norwood since 2020. Retired from the MBTA, Hillary is a people person with a passion for fixing things. He maintains the grounds and facilities at our church.
