Apostle's Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven,
He is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Universal Church,
the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
Amen.

Nicene Creed
I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made.
Who, for us men for our salvation, came down fro heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.
I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets.
I believe in one holy Universal and apostolic Church.
I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
Amen.

Core Beliefs
God
We believe in one true and living God, who exists eternally in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is holy, sovereign, all-powerful, all-knowing, and perfectly wise, just, and loving. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Isaiah 6:3, Psalm 115:3, Romans, 11:33-36, 1 John 4:8)
The Bible
We believe the Bible, made up of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final rule for all faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Psalm 19:7-9, Isaiah 40:8)
Creation & Providence
God created the world out of nothing for His glory. He sovereignly upholds and governs all things according to His perfect will and wisdom. (Genesis 1:1, Hebrews 11:3, Colossians 1:16-17, Hebrews 1:3, Romans 11:36, Psalm 103:19)
Section 4. Humanity and Sin
God created humanity—male and female—in His image. Through Adam’s disobedience, sin entered the world, and all people are now born in sin, separated from God, and under His just judgment. (Genesis 1:26-27, Romans 5:12, Romans 3:23, Psalm 51:5, Ephesians 2:1-3)
Salvation
Salvation is entirely by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ alone. God chose a people for Himself before the foundation of the world and sent His Son to redeem them through His life, death, and resurrection. The Holy Spirit regenerates and draws the elect to faith, and God preserves them to the end. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 8:29-30, Ephesians 1:4-5, John 6:37, 44, Titus 3:5, John 10:28-29, Philippians 1:6)
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died as a substitute for sinners, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return in the way that he departed to judge the living and the dead and make all things new. (John 1:1, 14, Colossians 2:9, Luke 1:35, Hebrews 4:15, 1 Peter 2:24, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Acts 1:9-11, Revelation 21:1-5, 2 Timothy 4:1)
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit applies the work of Christ to believers, giving them new birth, uniting them to Christ, sanctifying them, and empowering them to live godly lives. He dwells within all true believers. (John 3:5-8, Titus 3:5, Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthian 12:13, Galatians 5:22-23, Romans 8:13-14)
The Church
The church is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers. A local church is a community of baptized believers who gather for worship, teaching, fellowship, prayer, and the ordinances. Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church. (Ephesians 1:22-23, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, Acts 2:41-42, Colossians 1:18, Hebrews 10:24-25)
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We practice believer’s baptism by immersion, which is a sign of faith and union with Christ. The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic meal for baptized believers to remember and proclaim Christ’s death until He returns. (Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:3-4, Acts 2:38, 41, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
Christian Life
Followers of Christ are called to live lives of holiness, love, humility, and obedience. We pursue spiritual growth, accountability within the church, and good works flowing from our faith. (Romans 12:1-2, Ephesians 4:1-3, Galatians 5:22-25, Hebrews 10:24-25, James 2:17, Titus 2:11-14)
Last Things
Jesus Christ will return bodily and visibly to judge the world and bring the fullness of His kingdom. The righteous will be raised to eternal life and joy in God’s presence, while the unrighteous will be raised to eternal judgment. (Acts 1:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Matthew 25:31-46, Revelation 20:11-15, John 5:28-29, Revelation 21:1-4,
